In other words, the question doesn't apply. By Ddrak's definition, your welfare comes in the form of military security, law enforcement, public schools, hospitals, transportation and etc.
BTW, this is why while, like everybody else in the country, I hate paying taxes -- but I think they're a bargain for our standard of living.

I still dont like the statistics of the whole thing. If the fed builds a national hiway throughout the country. Cost per capita in Califorina for its segment is much less than in Montana. To imply that Montana is getting welfare, because it had to comply just doesn't seem honest. Not to mention the percent of people out of state using the hiway in Montana to cross through it vs the in state folks usingi it has yet to be compared to the other states ratio and factored in.
