I'm a WI native, and was still in state when Feingold made his quirky little ads that got him elected to the Senate in 92. You all remember 92 right? That was the year a third party candidate got almost 19% of the popular vote......the nation was primed for change and Feingold tapped into that and did something that almost never happens in WI......he toppled an incumbant. Never really thought much of him as a Senator. Doubt he has the national recognition to do anything. It's tough to make the leap from the Senate to the Presidency.
