Well yeah, hence me saying "with the proper training". Also yes we women do have sensitive areas, but simply stated that a man's sensitive area was more easilly accessable. A woman with the proper training will be able to drop a man twice her size who has no or little training or fighting experience. The same goes for men, a man will be able to drop a woman who is twice his size with the propper training if she lacks the proper skills.Embar Angylwrath wrote:That is a common misconception. While a woman may be better able to help herself with some martial arts training than a woman without martial arts training, the fact remains that if an average woman and average man go at it, the woman will have to get lucky to put the man down.Narith wrote: A woman is just as capable (if not more seeing as men have easier access to a sensitive area of thier body for means of incapacitating) of defending herself as a man is with the proper training.
Also, martial artists know where the disabling spots on a female are, too. A squarely placed kick to a female's groin area will drop her just as fast as it would a man. Females don't have testicles, but they do have flesh that will rupture if crushed on the pubic bone. Also, knuckle strikes to the chest area on a female cause intense, blinding pain. The same is not true for a male.
Face it.. in a physical fight between a male and a female, your money should be on the male, regardless of the training the female has.
In a physical fight my money will be on the more skilled opponent reguardless of thier gender, and in cases with equal skill then you judge based on speed and strength which can swing on the side of either gender.
If you would like further proof I can introduce you to a several women who can drop most men where they stand, 2 being black belts, one being an amature weight lifter, one practicing for golden gloves or something like that. You really shouldn't judge based on gender.
