Great Articles of Freedom

Post by Dlaet »

Representative Tom DeLay has provided an excellent list of "Great Documents of Freedom", besides the Constitution, located on his website HERE. What a great list of important historical documents, including the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, and THE CONTRACT WITH AMERICA!
When the The Contract with America was issued in September of 1994, it presented clearly defined positions on issues of concern to the American people. It was a written commitment that presented to the people an agenda for the House of Representatives. In exercising their freedom to govern themselves, the people could read The Contract with America and embrace the agenda presented in the document. The resulting vote re-established the people's control of Congress and granted to the new majority elected the responsibility to proceed with The Contract, and, by open debate and consensus, bring to the House Floor several bills which are listed in The Contract.
The fact that The Contract with America is not studied in American high schools and colleges with the same depth as the other documents listed proves the liberal bias in our educational system. .

p.s. If you agree with any of that shit I write above, with anything written on DeLay's website comparing the CWA to the other documents listed, or that the CWA is great document of freedom, you need to stop voting, because you are too stupid to provide useful input into the governing of the United States.

Funnier still how some of the principles therein have been abandoned in ten short years.

Actually you should stop voting since what you wrote has nothing to do with the website.

The website makes noe statements lack of coverage in our educational system nor does it try to rank these documents. It simply provides them in chronological order.

You are welcome to your opinion that the CWA has nothing to do with accountability of government to the citizens and does not revole around concepts of freedom, however its nothing more then an opinion.

And like they said "If we break this contract, throw us out."

Jecks,
I am blithering idiot. I heard once that admitting your problem is the first step to recovery. I do try not to be a troll, but the website screamed "TROOOLLLY TROOOOLLLYYYY TROOOOOLLLLYYYY".

Rsak,
Can I fondle you? I am usually dripping when I read your posts, but this time I was especially wet.

Harlowe,
Minnesota hotties are not allowed in my special "Men's Club"...sorry.

Eagle Scouts? =P

Good to see you around Pete, we need some balance here. I can't remember if you were Democrat, Republican, Libertarian or People's Front of Judea, but I recall it being rational.
