Apparently a grenade was just thrown at Bush in Georgia, more as news unfolds....

Sorry for doulbe post. It says it was thrown during his speech, not sure if it was near him or anything at this point, the farking site hasnt linked anything to it yet.

It was thrown at the stage where he was speaking and landed within 100 feet of him.

Grenade within 100 feet of the President is gonna make the SS pretty nervous. That's pretty ass-lucky really.

Apparently the SS did not even know there was a grenade (or other explosive device) until the President was already on Air Force One

I doubt even if it went off it would have been close enough to hurt him. Especially because of the amount of people between him and it. Even so, that is damn close.

100 feet is about twice the official "casualty" range, but I wouldn't wanna be standing that close. I'd put bets on a person acting by themselves though so I doubt an interrogation will give much.
