When SciFi did the miniseries of Battlestar they had little intention of actually turning it into a tv show. A Canadian company picked it up for an exclusive broadcast window. They did broadcast it in HD, so imo if some no name Canadian TV station can do HD you should be fine on Carnivale.

Man, I never really got into "Dead Like Me" but I can't believe they shut down "Carnivale."

Hell, just the intro for the show was amazing with the 3D tarot and modern interpretation. And yes, to just abandon the show on a cliffhanger like that is just wrong imo.

Yes, because that's what they did to Models Inc. and having the same thing done to your own show draws uncomfortable parallels.

It was an interesting spin-off from the whole Melrose Place storyline. I don't think it carried the degree of suspense and romantic tension though which could be found through Melrose and that ultimately led to the lack of interest which brought about its downfall.
