Israel releases a substantial number of Palestinians, purportedly to boost the moderate contingent in the Abbas' led Palestinian Authority.

How long before some knuckleheads in the more militant faction show their support by bombing something?

Unfortunately, you're probably right. Still, we can only hope the more moderate members of the PA do get a political boost from this.
