Kingdom Hearts II

Liking it a lot so far. Link to the official site, if you're curious: Kingdom Hearts II

They have added some new features and kept in a lot of the good stuff from the first game. Not very challenging on the normal mode, yet. There are more worlds than in the first game, but these worlds seem smaller (not as much content to get through, prior to getting to the boss).

Anyone else playing this, or am I the only Disney/Square geek?

I enjoyed the first one a lot. Plan to eventually play the second, but probably not for months (I have several other games higher up my priority list).

Haven't bought it yet but will soon. It is my daughters favorite game on PS2. Glad to hear they did a good job with the sequel.

Cloud was in the first game, too.

Sephiroth is an optional boss in this game and, based on what I have heard, is the most badass mob you can face.

Sephiroth was the final battle in the Olympus Collosseum if you defeated the three cups and the hades cup then beat the ice tytan he'd appear as the Platinum Challenge. He beat that ass ferverously.

Both games have several Final Fantasy characters. Off hand iirc, I've seen:

FF7: Cloud, Sephiroth, Tifa, Aerith, Yuffie
FF8: Seifer, Fujiin, Rajiin (KH2 only), Squall (Leon)
FF9: Vivi (KH2 only)
FFX: Wakka, Tidus, Selphie
FFX-2: Yuna, Rikku, Paine (KH2 only)

Feel free to fill in any I forgot.

Oh, and to clarify, I was talking about fighting Sephiroth in the first KH. I haven't gotten to the part where you get to fight him in KH2 yet.

You forgot Selphie(I think thats her name..) from FF8... pretty visible early on in KH2.

I did mention Selphie, but got her confused with Rikku who was in X and X-2.

Too easy, IMO... but I guess it is more of a introductory game.

Now, to get Ultimate Weapon and beat Sephiroth.

Yeah, they have to make/market it for young kids, 10-12 year olds and such, since it's a Disney themed game.

My cousin's kids were doing fairly well at KH1 when they were over last time and they are 10.
