Looks cool and all, but I'm not sure the decrease in mobility would make it worthwhile.

Unfortunately, there's a whole host of questions to be answered besides the simple protection vs mobility one. It looks cool, but I'll withhold judgement until it can be shown:

A: Effective as armor
B: Sufficiently mobile
C: Field wearable - What's it gonna do in a -40 blizzard or +130 F desert sun? Is an infantyman going to wear it, or take it off?
D: Field repairable - Ceramic armor breaks. That's how it works. Can the quartermaster swap out a plate in short order?
E: Producibility - Can it be made in sufficient quantity?
F: Length of usage life

Also, many features are, uh, borderline at best. Like the laser pointer.

From what I understand D and E are pretty much why the army didn't take Dragon Skin armor into Iraq. That, plus a bunch of them had bad glue that melted at like 160 F. Those and C, I expect, will stop this dead.

Also, this thing weighs as much as a full suit of plate...

I can't see the cost effectiveness in this suit.

Does it come with a ghost?
I'd like to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my ass.
