Children of Men

Pretty shocking movie IMO.

I totally reccomend it... although if you in any way are as obsessed with Julianne Moore as me -- you won't enjoy her getting totally destroyed by a gunshot to the neck.

ZOMG spoiled!~

I saw this last night. Awesome film, but who the F* came up with that lame ass ending? Hello... resolution!

For all I know everyone drowned, including Bazooka/Dillon/Frolly.

Yeah, the ending was lame. It probably wasn't even the right boat, and they were sold into slavery.

It was an okay movie. The cinematography was well done; however, the movie did a disservice to the book.

Much more believable "futuristic" 1984-style film. I liked it. Some parts of the film were very well done and very believable. The best part was when they were walking through the crowd of soldiers and they all stopped... then went right back to shooting at the building as soon as they were done walking through. I found that hilarious.

The end did leave me without good resolution, as well.

The most unrealistic thing about that movie was the fact that the soldiers actually let them go. Who the fuck just lets the first baby born in 18 years walk away? I mean, at least one of those soldiers would have pulled his head out of his ass and said, "Excuse me, ma'am, but you're going to have to come with us now."

And I agree, the end was absolute crap. This was a great concept for a movie, it just went nowhere.

The movie was only amazingly impressive to me because of the cinematography. There was HUGE lots of the movie shot and moved without ever breaking scene. Holy crap that was impressive. The story line was fairly unrealistic, but the acting was ok. I'd recommend seeing it, but only if you can appreciate how hard it would be to orchestrate all of that without cutting scenes.

Right in the middle, the soundtrack cut into King Crimson's "In the Court of the Crimson King" which I thought was really cool. I forgot to mention that in my last post.
