Post by Cetra Strife »

So I've been reading that the newest expansion was fantastic, and soe just announced the next expansion was " The Rise of Kunark". So is anyone still playing? I have a lvl 10 sk toon on Blackburrow, figured I'd see if anyone else was still kickin it.

I pop in from time to time on it. Been playing a lil wizard on Everfrost (I think it is now? Was Grobb when I quit.) because it performs way better than Vanguard does. :p

Kunark huh? I might have to get back into eq2...
Make love? Fuck that, I'll make a slut cry. Fuck that, I'll make a slut cum nine times.

They're adding Sarnaks as a playable race.

I figured that would happen eventually. Do they have racial tensions in EQ2 now? Cause those Sarnak are Iksar creations and they should hate each other.

The amount of planes should eventually even out with a moon.

I looked at the site. Seems the Iksar and Sarnark still hate each other <3

I'm really considering going back to gaming for this expansion. I have a soft spot for Kunark and my lizards. The expansion site is well done.... so far.

EQ2 is a lot of fun for the casual gamer. No grinding necessary and the quests are actually productive. The free Neriak add on is coming this month. I've looked at it on test and it's cool. Reminds me of the old Neriak only mo pretty.

I love long-time the mentoring system in EQ2. That way when we lure an old member back to playing a mmorpg again, we can actually hunt with them and mess around in dungeons at the same level.

Where do you play, Harlowe? And do you know where a lot of the Brell concentration is?

I will likely stick with my 30-something necro from when the game was first out on Everfrost.

I'm not sure where the more high end guilds are, but I know a few of the old guilds (more RPish) are on Antonius Bayle. Evoluxa, Solus (now Solus Innovo), Exemplar (I think) another incarnation of the dark elf guild I can't remember.

If you are talking about very casual guilds, though I think Exemplar is into higher end stuff. I think for a period of time they are letting people do a character to another server for free.

There's also a collection of folks on Permafrost and one or two still on Blackburrow as well.

Not that anyone particularly cares, but I'm on Mistmoore, and I just reactivated my account. It's still patching, actually, so hopefully I'll be able to log in by the time I'm off work in the morning. 45 Necro, Arogati. Come say hi, Select!
