Couple of us from my area made our own server, didn't add any custom stuff to it yet, just wanted to see if we could get it to work. Shards of Dalaya seems to be a pretty good emu server if yer lookin for one.

Iloll is pretty much the eqemu god. Hit him up with a PM and I'm sure he can get you hooked up on something Raistle. Last time I talked to him, he's building a new server called cohpvp. I played it for a bit during their "beta" phase and had a lot of fun.

Oh, I just noticed that cohpvp is dead. I guess they ran out of funding/support to keep it going. If you guys find another good pvp server to play emu on, let me know!
