Refueling as opposed to recharging will significantly slow the desirability of the cell. I don't want to have to worry about carrying a "gas can" around for my laptop, rather just plugging it into the wall seems preferable.

That PDF is 4 years old. It may be reversable now, since they refer to it as a 'battery'.
