In Theory, that feature can be added. Right now, it will require not recharging, but refueling.

Refueling as opposed to recharging will significantly slow the desirability of the cell. I don't want to have to worry about carrying a "gas can" around for my laptop, rather just plugging it into the wall seems preferable.
