I am looking for something to save streaming video to my desktop. The streams are coming from the schools video library (lectures for this year) but to access them I have to be on campus.
Does anyone know of a program that can rip video (pref. from inside Media Player or a Media Player like app), handle MMS webaddresses, run on Windows (yes I know there are probably linux programs that z0mg do this already) and can handle user id/passworded files?
I've tried SDP's open project, Orbit, WMR and Replay A/V without success.
Ideas?

Re: Streaming Video
It's not easily possible with Media Player (in my experience). You may have success ripping with FRAPS, but mostly the streaming video sites do what they can to stop you downloading stuff for offline content. It's a lot easier with Quicktime though - just get a Pro license to download pretty much anything.
