Fellow Hyborians!
As you may have noticed we have had frequent patches the last two weeks. We hope this will soon start to quiet down, but as long as there are major issues – and there have been – we will dedicate the Conan team to fixing them and giving you these fixes as soon as possible! We have a plan on how to move this game forward because as you know, what you have today is but the platform – the dawn of this world. I hope you enjoy the game as is, but I can ensure you, this is but the beginning!
Our focus from now on can be summarized by these points:
1. We will add content, specifically in mid-late thirties and mid-late fifties and make the leveling speed smoother in those areas, reducing the need to grind.
2. We will have an overhaul of the PvP system – adding consequence and a host of small things.
3. We are fixing bugs you reported through all channels we can get information from.
4. We will add a new large outdoor region in the 55-60 range this summer!
5. This is only a small taster! More information about the exciting summer and fall Roadmap will come the end of the next week!
6. We are staffing up Customer Service, Quality Assurance and Community departments!
1. Filling “thin areas” in our content
We have seen that there are certain level ranges of these Hyborian Adventures that do not have the amount of quality we wish them to have. Most specifically these are the end of the Thirties and the end of the Fifties level ranges. We are addressing this in several ways.
* Several mid-late thirties dungeons are getting a complete overhaul (Black Castle, Pyramid of the Ancients and Treasury of the Ancients)
* Several quests are being made fuller and more entertaining. If people wish to revisit these quests, we will add a system to let them try them out again.
* we are adding first a batch of quests in Eiglophian Mountains (lvls 55+)
* We are also adding in a bunch of quests that didn’t quite make it for launch in the 30+ areas.
* Around 60 quests through the game have been flagged as “Lore Quests”. They will now be patched out with full Voice-Over. (Roughly 1 quest per level after level 20)…
2. Overhauling the PvP System
People like our open PvP system. There are many plans on how to give this open free PvP even more meaning and Purpose. In the meantime we will be doing some smaller tweaks, and we plan to get these out sometimes in June. I will not go into 100% detail here, but that will come next week! What I can promise is:
* An update on how sneaking and perception works in PvP (nothing major, but an adjustment).
* Un change in the amount of information you get when you hover over an other player.
* An added system of consequence to “ganking”. (Killing much-much lower level players).
* A system of adding consequence to losing a PvP match, and winning a PvP match + turning on PvP Leveling.
* A change in how Crowd Control (Root, Knockback etc) works in PvP.
* PvP gear.
3. New Massive Region
We will unveil this location later, but it will feature a host of quests, new monsters and places of dreams or horror. It will be styled towards the players in the late 50s and bridge the experience on the way to Atzels Approach. We have plans for releasing several of the areas that didn’t quite make it for the release.
4. Fixing bugs and increasing Customer Service
Funcom has always prided ourselves with having great customer satisfaction. The success so far for this title has left us with the need to increase the size of CS. This will go in parallel with the constant fixing of bugs and other issues that lead people to petition. Included in this is even better testing of the game by increasing the size of Quality Assurance and informing you better about changes by staffing up the Community Department. I know a blurb like this will haunt me always, but I will still venture one: We aren’t satisfied until all our customers are! You know we had a very, very difficult launch of Anarchy-Online! That was a very painful process for all of us working on it – 4 years. You might not understand how driven we are to make sure you enjoy this game, and all the support around it!
The future is very bright for Hyboria. There will be many bright mornings following this, the very first. Together we shall surge ahead and build the world even bigger, better and more detailed!

AoC is still the buggiest game I've ever played. Not even EQ at Luclin launch compares.
Last night I had 2-3 sets of the same buffs on me, max health that could never be filled, a death penalty that never went away, and random mobs that would come out of no where to attack me.

1. Lose your hair when you stealth.
2. Necromancer DoT: Mark of the Devourer, Lasts over 2 minutes on a target, and keeps that target PLUS their group in combat, they cannot rest, gain
food buff regeneration, cannot talk to NPC's or hide.
3. Barbarians No Escape does not have a graphics/animation, most of the time does NOT root the target or return your weapon.
4. Barbarian Finishing Blow does not always work, it gets caught on anything smaller than a pebble and its damage is HORRIBLE now.
5. Escape Artist in the rogue tree does not work.
6. Changing Instances gets bugged out all the time, spams (have to be within 5m even though you are)
7. Summoning people to your instance does not work (Says they are already in your instance, which they aren't)
8. Level 50 Destiny quest, if you kill the boss before you loot the artifact it is sometimes impossible to loot it.
9. If you log out (or crash) in a solo instance you are sometimes permanently stuck in there, or have to Path out.
10. 3.0 Shaders cause some sort of memory leak and PILLAGE your Frame rate.
11. Water Reflections (especially at night) cause a very apparent memory leak.
12. You buffs now stack over and over again visually, not actually.
13. Barbarians (maybe other classes) stances such as Reaver does not apply the first time you click it.
14. Minimap and Map grays out and becomes not usable until you zone or relog.
15. Many hotkeys are hardwired and not able to be changed (I.E. Mouse button 4 and 5)
16. Wounded Child quest broken (Not important but tired of all the questions in OOC about it haha)
17. Several quests in Noble distance are listed as normal quests in your log, but are actually elite quests that you have to do with a group and change the instance to elite. (I.E. In defense of beauty)
18. Soldier classes charge is completely messed up, will run wildy past its target or not work at all.
19. Many group instances have bosses that do not drop chests/loot.
20. Making zones/instance elite serve NO purpose. Due to the huge amount of HP it is much slower to kill them even with a gull group. Not worth the effort currently (Although some level 80 instances (loot wise) may be worth it not sure.
21. Sometimes if the zone crashes (E. Mountains has done it to me over 10 times in 2 days) and you are grouped, sometimes when you log back in you and your group mates are in separate instances.
22. When a hunter roots you, there are times where it becomes permanent until you Path out or die.
23. While sitting on some benches/chairs in a tavern you can get stuck and have to path out or die.
24. Sometimes while dancing you cannot stop dancing. (easily)
25. If your group mates get out of range of you (SHORT RANGE) you have no idea where they are in the zone unless you get their coordinates or some sort of landmark (BLEH).
26. Guardian stances actually stack multiple times (Offensive stance increasing vulnerability by 400%)
27. Mount glitch out and you have to unglitch them.
28. Sometimes when clicking the "Search" ability the bars casts in 1 second and doesn't do anything, then you have to wait for its normal cooldown.
29. Guild cities currently serve no purpose, none of the building intended purpose are working as intended.
30. Gemcutting trainer will not talk to you at certain tiers.
31. Some gems (Tigerseye sp?) goes to your normal inventory and cannot be placed in your resource bag or sold.
32. Some gems and (mainly) rough leather has stacking issues and bugs out to where you are not able to use them.
33. After placing any item on the Tradepost/auction house you are not ever able to sell it to a vendor, your choices are to sell it at an almost-free-price or destroy it.
34. Barbarians Feat "Unstoppable" does not proc enough if ever. (Broken?)
35. Lack of climb indicators near some climbing spots.
36. On the Friends list under the category "Region" some people do no show up and has something like "Unknown PF: 3134234".
37. If you lose internet connection while playing, then regain it, try to log back into the game it goes all the way to the character load screen and gives you the error message stating that you have the wrong version of the game.
38. It appears that Dexterity does not add to your attack rating as states when you hover over the stat.
39. After logging out of the game or crashing, your game volume resets to a default.
40. After zoning 5-6 times in the same session you more than likely crash due to some sort of issue with memory.
41. Minigames currently putting you in games with people 20 or more levels above you. Brackets seem very messed up.
42.Priest HoTs or buffs is almost a guaranteed instant aggro in groups.
43. Body pulling seems to be bugged and even pulls MOBS from across the zone. Pulling with arrows or spells seems to pull less. (is this as-intended?)
44. Some potions do not seem to stack (Level 30) and also seem to be infinite uses at times.
45. Client crash when mousing over gemmed socket.
46. Items with % based lifesteal/mana steal etc need to be better clarified or converted to something a lot more understandable.
47. Respeccing feats tend to reset tradeskills for some players (Myself included)
48. Some skills/combos use the cooldown even THOUGH you did not successfully use them. I.E. using a Shock and Awe and before its casting bar is finished you get stunned or knockback. Also if you active block sometimes to cancel the attack it still uses its cooldown.
49. Run Speed ability does NOT seem to be working the first 400 points or so.
50. All abilities (bandaging, quick recovery etc) should REALLY be clarified. The information given seems to be too vague. Most of them seem to be quite useless. (i.e. putting more than 1 point in quick recovery does not see any difference)
51. Several areas have no minimaps/maps and the locations are completely off.
52. Mount speed (even horses) seems to almost be on par with running on foot (BROKEN?)
53. Grouping in an instance occasionally causes a buff to repeatedly apply to members of the group and replace itself every 3 seconds.
54. For crafting, sometimes it is not recognizing the actual resource in your bags.
55. Sanctum bosses stand still and do not fight back.
56. Noble district as a whole should be looked into and most of its quests tuned up and/or fixed.
57. Action bars are not lockable and can accidentally be moved all over the place.
I figured I would stop here, if I got into class specific bugs I would exceed 101.
