Well that's silly, because would you use a friend's dildo on yourself rather than having sex with someone you are interested in? How about use their diaphragm? No, that would be gross.

Also gross = bad hygiene. I wouldn't be having sex with someone who has bad hygiene, and there is no way I'd be playing with someone's used sex toys. If it's not something we purchased together....then yeah, keep it to yourself or toss that shit out.

I don't think a sex toy is cleaner by any means. People are compelled to shower, there is also skin cell turn over. It's not a man-made object being shoved up random asses and what-not then given a cursory wipe with a kleenex.
