Lots of buzz about this at the moment, but I have to say that I don't see how it can possibly work as advertised. I'd explain it myself, but Eurogamer did a much better job, and thought of stuff I missed:

To sum up, do you really want your PC games running at about 1024x768 with 30fps, glitching now and then, having sluggish controls and probably having to wait in a queue to play the latest game? Thanks, but I'd rather buy a console or PC and not have to worry about that. I can see it working for casual or adventure type games but not the Crysis/Burnout Paradise type games they are pushing.

Yeah, I saw this a few days ago when I was browsing startups, and agree. Even with "cloud algorithms" there is still physical distance & speed that come into play. Not saying that this might not be a possibility in the future, but I don't think it's going to be an immediate future. At least not at a level that most gamers are going to be willing to give up the current ability for.

I think it'll be more 1) how much it costs, 2) how many servers they have, 3) locations of the servers...
