What I expect to accomplish, for home use mainly, is to be able to cull Qwest down to a dialtone, no added services. no VM, or LD charges (those are $35+ a month after taxes and fees) and let Asterisk handle all that stuff for me.
I'm implementing it at work so we can have voicemail->email forwarding and really to dump this Avaya phone system that I'm not fond of.
Anyone had any experience with it? I just installed it today, and so far I have incoming and outgoing calls playing a monkey sound file; that's about it.
