What entitles someone making minimum wage to healthcare costing hundreds of thousands of dollars?
Illness actually does discriminate. Poorer people are more likely to contract disease. There's a study of blindness throughout income if I remember correctly.

Wow, Kulaf. I had no idea you were self-insured and paid the full cost of all health treatement you and your family receive. Most people are pussies and freeloaders who buy insurance and never pay the actual cost for treatment on their own.
Or maybe you meant to ask what entitles poor people to health coverage costing several thousand a year? We've already answered that question.

Yeah I also pay into Social Security for benefits I may never collect on so all of you might be able to.
Social Security's not the greatest example. At 27, I've been paying into SS for a decade and I don't expect to see any of it. Ever. Even if I needed it.
But I do expect to need health services. As such I actively avoid employment with companies with crappy insurance. Not everybody has the same options.
It's a perfect example. You could pay into it all your life and never get any benefit from it......or you could become totally disabled at 28 and get benefits you never paid for for the rest of your life.

Ditto what Ddrak said. I think the right to life is a basic human right. Are you going to answer my question? What makes a baby worth saving but not an adult?
I'm not going to answer your question for three reasons:
1) I don't jump through hoops at your behest.
2) I am actually pro-abortion which you'd know if you actully cared to.
3) The question is not germain to the topic we are discussing.

Arky has the right mindset... she shops employers for better health care packages. It's how the free market system works.
Correction Mr. President, I DID build this, and please give Lurker a hug, we wouldn't want to damage his self-esteem.

I don't believe Arky's mindset inferred not wanting basic healthcare for people.
And talk about victim mentality. Look at Jecks "b-b-b-but, Tyranny" rant or your whining about taxes or griping about providing basic services to people. I've said in the past, listening to some of you there's no more persecuted group in America than the wealthy.

What in my statement said she did?

What does Dd's statement have to do with adopting a victim mentality?

Lurker wrote:None of this has to do with "victim mentality". That was your term. It doesn't apply to someone who can't get health coverage in our broken system.
If none of this has anything to do with a victim mentality, then why did you say my comment on victim mentality had something to do with Dd;s statement?
