I haven't made it known around here, really. I've been a dad for 7 months now. Its a pretty amazing experience.

My girl is two and a half now and has decided that she has the best ideas on how her world should be run, then gets very upset when Mum and Dad decide differently. Other than that, she's insanely cute and has everyone else in the world fooled that she's just perfect.

Girl.

We're both doing good. Lots of sleep deprivation and getting her to sleep through the night (which she does most of the time now).

Congrats Fall. I always go back and forth with the whole parenting thing. Sometimes I think it'd be great to have kids, and sometimes it seems pretty awful. Y'all seem fairly happy with your spawnlings though.

Just had my 26th bday here, wow late 20s already! Doing a little whoring myself which has been really fun. I need to find a cuddle buddy for the coming cold though, relationships are a winter sport.

Fall, yeah, the sleep. I was pretty impressed at how much I could endure w/o much sleep. :) But, yeah, when my daughter started sleeping through the night there was much rejoicing (in my dreams of course).

7 months is such a CUTE age!

Crawling yet? All the relaxing seems to end when they crawl. Then it's a matter of chasing them around. Though we did have a great exersaucer for mine when I needed to sit and take a breather. :)

DD, that kind of "control" only gets worse. Three was by far the most "I MUST HAVE THINGS MY WAY."

Four seems to be less of that and more of "I can do things MYSELF..."

Tax... get going on that, yo! I want you to have someone to cuddle. Two gay men cuddling makes me warm and happy inside.

Everytime I see my nephews, I thank my insurance company for helping me pay to get neutered.

Trying to move into a new townhouse, hoping I get a reasonable raise this year, at least enough to offset inflation. We'll see. Company has a ton of cash and opened the wallet for the big boss. Hope they can manage to be generous all the way down the line.

Not crawling yet, though she is sitting up on her own and pulling herself up now. Shes much more of an assisted walker and scooter.

She must be a comedian in her head, she loves laughing.

The girls are cute until they get a mouth at about 10 or 11. From there on out, it's all drama

Raising a boy is harder when he's younger but easier as he gets older. My 16 year old son is respectful to his mommy, a personal assistant to his grandma and a cheap day laborer for me. The girl at 16 was staying out all night and getting picked up by the cops. There was lots of screaming involved and usually a mouthy friend or 4.

But you guys could get lucky and get someone like my sister who spent her childhood buried in books and graduated valedictorian. With the benefit of old age I can see now that it's basically luck and as a parent you can only do your own part and the rest is beyond your control. I've seen kids raised right and turn out bad, and I've seen kids raised by crackhead junkies put themselves through college.
