Soraka is OP. We did an all support game (Allistar, Sona, Soraka, Karma, Taric) and Soraka was like 18-0 and we almost pushed their nexus before the 20 minute mark.
I'd like to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my ass.

Grats. I haven't really been on since I started playing WoW again. For the first time ever I've actually been seriously leveling a couple alts.

I've started to get frustrated with playing ranked, now. I started off great, was up in 1400 ELO and then went on a loss binge and dropped to like 900ish. It's like you can't play without queue dodging. There's just so many god awfully bad players. I've actually gotten into the habit of joining a game, knowing full well I'm gonna dodge and then go play my alt, while I wait for my dodge penalty to drop. It's the only way to keep myself from turning into one of those raging douchebags who complains all game.

Problem is.. so many people have that mentality now, that it takes 20+ minutes sometimes to get a game to actually start.

That's how it happens in solo queue...get in a few good games...then get stuck with morons the rest of the day. When I was still playing I stopped bothering with ranked games.

It's fun, every time I get sick of playing ranked I'll have a really good game, where I completely carry a team. Right now I'm at like 700 elo, since I got drunk a few times and dropped from 1400. But last game, just when I was so sick of it, I played Karthus and went 26/11/15. Our team had 2 disconnects and our total score was 51-52 That means, of our 51 kills, I had a hand in 41 of them. And directly killed roughly half. My team was awful, even when they weren't disconnected and it made me smile to know that I single-handedly won the game for us.

That's the fun of LoL, I guess.

Sounds like you successfully played a carry. Also, I have no idea how people are any good with Karthus. I do much better with Malzahar or Cassiopeia than I ever do with Karthus.

The trick to Karthus is knowing when to ult. So many people waste it frivolously on trying to last hit a running champ in a different lane. If you save it for team fights, you insta-win. My standard plan is simply build Will of the Ancients for spell vamp, then get Rabadon's. You're basically unkillable. You waltz into a team fight, drop your wall to slow everyone and put up your E for massive damage. Use a few Q's for added damage, while they burst you down. Once you're dead, you have 9 seconds (thanks to his delay death) to drop another Q or 2 and then ult. That usually kills off 90% of the enemy health. My full build has 800 AP and a bunch of Armor Penetration, so the ult alone hits for over 1k damage to everyone. Even high end tanks late game max out around 4k health, while the squishies tend to be around 2k. Add in damage from E and Q and I usually do at least 2-3k damage per engage all on my own. Team just needs to clean up.

I've gotten into jungling a little more lately, too. I'm finding Udyr ridiculously overpowered if played well. His Phoenix stance does wicked AE damage, his turtle stance automatically gives you a 200pt heal and his bear stance gives you a stun-on-hit that lasts 2 seconds. Combine all that with how tanky he is and you have a beast of a jungler.
