That was a great speech. He really knows how to speak to an audience and engage in a way that is compelling and clear. It really did a great job setting the record straight on some of the more blatantly false claims made by Romney/Ryan in Tampa (robbing Medicare, welfare etc.).

Welfare was never mentioned at the Republican convention; the event was too high profile to feature a debunked, racially charged lie. But, now that the convention is over, Romney/Ryan are once again pushing the welfare lie.

I could have sworn welfare was mentioned during their convention more than once with regard to "gutting" Clinton's reform.
