If the race comes down to Ohio, I think the Everest Report on these machines make this a concern.

I'm really not a conspiracy theorist kind of person, but with the numerous shady things that have been going on to suppress voters and outright fraud, yea, this is all really concerning. I mean robo-calls telling people to vote on the wrong day were bad enough in previous elections..

The RNC-funded Strategic Allied Consulting, run by checkered GOP operative Nathan Sproul, is under criminal investigation in Florida for submitting fraudulent voter registration forms to election officials. (Sproul is still running voter-canvassing operations for conservatives in thirty states.) Sproul’s associate Colin Small, who had worked for Strategic Allied Consulting and as “Grassroots Field Director at the Republican National Committee,” was charged last week with eight felony counts and five misdemeanors for trashing voter registration forms in Virginia.

More voter fraud. And the victims seem to be:
Officials on Monday said voters who had received the letters thus far are white, registered Republicans who consistently vote in elections.
Please don't make this out as only a Republican thing. This goes on every election, with elements from both sides engaging in it. And I agree with Dd.. the voter machine is a red herring. Pretty hard to imagine a large conspiracy to jack voter booths initiated by a baord member associate of Romney. That's just lonney-toons.
Correction Mr. President, I DID build this, and please give Lurker a hug, we wouldn't want to damage his self-esteem.

You're right... In this election we had the First Lady tell everyone to get out and vote on November 2nd.

Any voter fraud is far more likely to be an issue at a local level where the individual vote makes far more of a difference than at the state or national level where you need a larger swing to make significant differences. If Rhode Island or Hawaii became a tipping point state then things might be different but all the states in question these days have large enough populations to require a massive conspiracy that needs to be kept very secret to succeed.
