I picked this up and managed to play through both wings of liberty and heart of the swarm in about 5 days. I really like what Blizzard did with this franchise. The cut scenes are absolutely gorgeous, but also the mission content is a lot more enjoyable and the story has gotten a little more complex. It even has a love story! The new units and such are all pretty cool, too. Though, it looks like they made Terran/Zerg far more powerful, while Protoss have actually taken a step back (cruisers have a really low number of interceptors now). I'd definitely recommend it. For only $80 you can't really go wrong with this, you get 51 missions (not including zerg evolution missions), access to battlenet if that's your thing (I suck at it, so haven't tried) and if you get the collectors edition a couple little perks in the box.
Good game, if you're into the franchise.
