I looked at marmalade and it looks really neat. I was going to download it before I noticed that it requires a monthly subscription to use it. Since I'm probably going to be developing really slow and just chipping away at a few apps, and since all my other ventures need input, I'm going to pass on it for now.
Currently I'm running Eclipse Juno. Out of all the environments I looked at, this one had the largest set of sample apps. I've been looking at all the samples and making sure I can compile them and run them in the various emulators. It's a pretty good learning curve but it's been fun so far the little bit of time I've put into it. Eclipse isn't a bad IDE either. Not a big fan of Java but at least it's object oriented.
Downloaded a sample flashlight app because I'm trying to created a branded flashlight app for my outdoor blog. It blows up of course. Hopefully a few more all night sessions and I'll be able to be semi-productive.
