the (RMAH) shutdown will occur on March 18, 2014. We will keep everyone informed as we work through this process.

Diablo 3 to permanently remove its auction houses in March 2014
Both gold and real money systems will be totally purged from the game.

Good move, since it destroys the core of what Diablo is.
