And I have to agree the lack of comment on this thread summarized the game well.

I was extremely disappointed. The entire playoffs had been so great. I thought this was going to be a great game. I didn't even care who won. This blowout was just sad.

It wasn't really a traditional blowout though. It's not like the Seahawks dominated on offense with about 320yds of total offense. They just found about every possible way of scoring, and the Bronco's looked like a team with a 40 year old QB.

I went to this big super bowl party where everyone was dressed up in orange with face paint. We ended up turning the game on mute at half time (Bruno Mars? ick.) and just stopped paying attention to it. What a bust.

I ate my in-laws sammich ring and loled at the safety for about 10 minutes, then we went home before the weather hit. Good times for all. Just hope the Seachicken fans can stop whining on sports boards about XL now - getting kind of old.

I was glad the Seahawks won and the first half was enjoyable. I don't like Manning, but it's sad that his legacy will now be that he fails to show up for the big games. He threw 2 absolutely horrendous picks. Stuff I'd expect from a first year QB, not a hall of famer with so much experience under his belt. The Seahawks D was impressive as always, but I felt like Denver's Offense just crapped the bed completely.

Not the worst Super Bowl I've seen, but far from a great one.

I agree. As much as I love Manning, he lost that game for them. 2 early pics, one of which for a touch town, just obliterated the teams spirit. And there was no rally after. I know that short pass was Denver's bread & butter, but why they kept that up after being so far down at half time is beyond me.

You take what you can get, when you can't get much. Manning can't throw the deep ball as well any more, between age and surgery. Plus, the Seachicken defense this year was pretty damned elite - they flat out beat the shit out of the Broncos in every way possible.
