If you're not a fan of the show, do not buy this game.
Having said that, I just finished it off and it was shockingly enjoyable. None of the laugh out loud hilarity I expected, but still a decent game to pay a little service to fans. Pretty basic RPG with all the familiar faces from South Park and a couple pretty amusing moments. If you enjoy South Park and want a game to eat up 12 hours or so, it's worth grabbing if you don't mind the high price tag.
Anyone else give it a whirl yet?

I plan on playing this at some point, but will wait until the price drops. Only 12 hours of game play, huh?

Re: South Park: The Stick of Truth
Yeah, that was the disappointing part. I got maybe 12-15 hours, but I fucked around, checked out the whole town and surrounding areas, etc. for fun. There really isn't a whole lot of replay to it either. You've heard all the jokes and there isn't much to it. You max out at level 15 right now, which is kinda weird.
One thing I can say after a single play through is, go Mage class. Later on in the game (which isn't difficult, mind you) the other classes don't have an inherent way to deal with armor, while the Mage just shreds it. I imagine it would've been a lot harder as a different class. Your 'companions' all compliment the mage, too. I will probably revisit the game and try out being a jew later on, just for laughs.
I'd wait for the price drop, frankly. I don't think it'll be $60 for long. It's really not worth it, unless you can readily afford to drop cash on a short game like that. I wish they'd made it longer as it was enjoyable to play through. No 'grinding' feel and a lot of light humour to keep things enjoyable.

I bought it at 60$ and was shockingly pleased with the gameplay. Short replay value though =( Funny, but as said earlier... you can only really hear that same joke so many times.
A side note... games use to have more financial longevity. Now I see games drop 20% in a few weeks. I need to plan my purchases with this more in mind. This game as of this writing is like fucking 16 dollars.
