- A new dungeon system that will reduce camping, and allow for a single group to have a zone to themselves. With another group who wants the same zone able to do the same simultaneously. Basically, a system where multiple copies of the same zone can be running at any given time to allow the players to have their own experience and camp the mobs that they want without having to wait in line or fight over camps.

- Expect the next EverQuest expansion sometime this fall, with the focus on dungeons. We were also told that this expansion will include more zones than ever before.

Weren't they suppose to do that with LoY or PoP forgot which it was suppose to be?

So I'm figuring if you lose someone in your group and the rep comes the entire group has to zone out invite the new person and then rebreak the spawns when they spawn into their very own dungeon.

Also may wreck havok on the guides trying to find people, not to mention CRs for clerics comming to rez friends and such.

Just a few issues they will need to fix before they do this, hopefully they thought of these things

WoW will have similar problems seeing they advertised the same thing. I'd guess that each dungeon is associated with a particular group/raid but I have no idea how Sony will code it. The EQ code must be getting pretty freaky by now...

yeah specially since none of the original programmers are still with them

At least thats what I've read, but I'm too lazy to really look into it.

I'm interested to see how it all comes out to play though, don't know if I like the idea of having a zone all to myself though, I've had some real interesting conversations in ooc and stuff, and gotten some nice deals on stuff that people sell in zones.

Back in the day, Staff of Writhing for 15pp, I was like /drool
