I'm unfortunately majoring in Computer Science. The CS classes seem sorta scattered and disjointed, what you learn in one part of a class progression doesn't always seem to be useful at all for the next one in the chain. It's kinda frustrating.

The only time I really come into the Natural Science building is to do tech support work, so now that I got laid off, I'll probably not be in there again anytime soon. :roll:

A number of the regional schools in Oregon are doing this. Some of the programs might even be good.

I notice exactly the opposite in the Bio classes - a lot of them overlap a lot, sometimes so much that the whole series feels a little redundant.

Why are you at Western? I heard UO and PSU have damn fine CS programs, and you seem to be pretty unhappy with the program here.
