I have access to more content for less money. I max my cap every month. So if I had more consistent speeds ... What, I'd max it a couple days faster? Probably not since there'd be much less to download.

So you get more consistent speeds. Not a factor for me since I'm not in a hurry to watch anything. Honestly most of my downloads are ready for me long before I'm ready for them. If it takes a month or day or whatever it's all the same for me. I'm the weak link in the chain, not my download speeds.

And I'm happy to trade less consistent downloads for drastically more content.

Also, you can keep saying "Usenet > Bit Torrent" like repeating it makes it true. Both methods are a mixed bag, and in the end you do your homework and decide on what fits you better. Though I think Tax is right and that you are needlessly paranoid about BT and falsely overconfident about Usenet.

This is exactly how I feel as well. I keep a "shit to download" draft email and fill it with stuff I want as I think of it. When I'm feeling in the mood I'll get everything downloading and work through watching it at will.

I just watch it online without downloading usually. It's only Showtime and HBO shit I even need to look for nefarious means to get at.

Okay I'll try not to gush daily about this show, but I was up until 3:00AM this morning watching it because I just had to see what was happening next. The interrogation episode was just incredible, Claire Danes was faaaaaabulous.

I'm so effin tired.

Yeah, it kept me from doing my homework and I'm late on an assignment now. It's the show's fault.

I agree that the interrogation scene was nuts. Damian Lewis is my new favorite actor right now.
