Actually I do have another. The co-worker that I was going to give it to went top grade asshole on me and tried to blame me for his screw up.

Will send it in a moment once I pull up the email. Watch you PM.
Haha thank you asshole co-worker (and you too).

I can barely play at home because it's so shitty (graphic-intensive). Even gutted the effects to NADA.

Loaded it at work on the mega gaming machine, but keep getting disconnected. Wondering if the school servers nix that shit. (But then again, we play WoW all the time.)

Still no idea what I'm doing exactly, but I did get on the Serenity server just because it was listed here. I'm Vastlee, but no idea what that means. 8)

I am struggling with a fantastic imagination but a complete lack of skill. :D

Also being perfectionist isn't helping much. Those voxel collision issues, i.e. textures meshing together or the jagged edges, make me want to punch babies.

I am on the Crater island under this name. Head West/Northwest and look for the Tetris "L" shape on the mountain peaks. Will see 3 incomplete towers and a bridge.

I got a flag & staked a claim, but didn't know what I was doing so I buried it in the ground. Then spent like 2 hours hollowing out a giant hole in the ground.
I think I'm gonna start over. I at least have an idea of what I'm doing.

I hope there is some way to eventually automate or speed up the copper production as more claims is going to cost more copper to maintain. My current one is only like 350 copper per day, but can you imagine if you built like a huge thing & then went on vacation & came back to it gone.

Once you get better tools, I might have a spare pick and axe to hand you, things will speed up.

Meh, it's not a big deal. I'm not going to get super involved right now. I'm looking forward to when we start killing stuff.

I am curious if they are ever going to make gravity/physics a thing? Right now I can dig out a huge area under 1 layer & it never falls.

The base engine for Landmark is Voxel Farm and they did a large update in April:

Now we have to see if SoE can integrate Voxel Farm into their Forgelight engine. At the end of the video they show physics in game. Hope they make it in.

It's really the other way around. Right now, Voxel Farm's biggest focus is their projects with SOE.

http://www.eqhammer.com/interview/inter ... voxel-farm
That certainly does seem to be the intention. Will the stuff you're currently working on also be implemented in EQNLandmark, or is it purely intended for EQN? Specifically, the functionality that is currently under development.

Both Next and Landmark.
Voxel Farm is building the tech, SOE adds the interface mechanics necessary to implement the tools and tech that VF brings to them.

I'll probably buy into this later this week.

Quick question, is it worth it to spend the extra money to get the Settler/Trailblazer stuff? Or is all that basically just fluff?

I just bought the $19 pack as I don't plan on playing the game much. It was more of an easy way to see what EQN would be like physically when it launches.

That's what I figured. Also, I have like 5,000 Station Points. I'm sure I can use it to grab most of that stuff anyway.

They added the cave system today. Much larger mineral/gem nodes to dig up. Enjoyed my 2 hours today.

I'm roaming around one of the servers, I think Serenity, under my old bard's name. (Aamaddorin) If I'm not on Serenity, I'll head that way.

I'm waiting for EverQuest - Brell Serilis Edition - where there are NPC versions of Classic Brellians. If you're in Karnor's Castle, Barkona (totally not my monk alt of the same name) trains your group.
