Hey guys.. I've decided to leave Watchers so I can get into a real raiding guild. I wont be able to help right away since I broke both my pinkie fingers at work..

Please dismiss all the talk about me Xfering to Stormhammer.. TR asked me to join them but they don't have a medical plan for all my ailments.

Having done so much research on Canni and Watchers I fail to see how they missed this:

Probationary Period: After you are invited, you will go through a trial period where the guild members will help judge you on how participative you are, how well you fit with the guild and how well you represent the guild externally. This trial period ends when the officers and members feel comfortable with you on all these issues.

A simple PM on the board to anyone on the members list whose name is bold I think would have been the right move rather than the rants post. Of course its their right to post on rants, thats what the board is for, just bad form.

Of course a private conversation informing Watchers officers would have precluded our favorite troll cunt face Valoria from chiming in, where is the fun in that.

Agony is still only semi-informed. Not that it really matters but here's the full story (as I know it):

Canni was cross server recruited by Enshadowed in the first week of November but not being Time flagged made things rather unenjoyable because at that stage Ensh was spending 4-5 days a week in Time working on TZ/VZ. It was after that she changed her app to us. I have no idea of the circumstances behind the cross server recruiting Enshadowed did, I just know took Canni's app at face value when it appeared.

We put her through the standard recruitment we use for anyone we know nothing about and she came through it just fine - in fact she was very well received and has made a great addition to our cleric crew in plenty more ways than just being "chrot cleric #10" or something like that. In that time, we knew Canni was cross-server but didn't go into it too deeply, preferring to make our own judgement on members than take a chance on someone else's ideas.

As a member of the guild, we will stand by her when she's attacked and I won't tolerate attacks on our members on our board. If people wanted to talk to me about it, they are more than welcome to by sending calm and reasonable tells to brell.ddrak, but posting inflammatory remarks and links to rants threads on our boards isn't going to achieve very much.

I have no personal bearing in this whatsoever but I think dishonesty is a pretty shitty character flaw.

I just don't understand why he wasn't honest instead of selling a bullshit sob story to transfer to Brell.

How is 'get your rant on' inflammatory? Oh well, I was banned from Watchers board. As often as I visit there, I'm sure I will manage without it.

As for why we didn't contact officers there, as we said before, this ISN'T about Watchers. Its about Cannibia, and exposing her/his/it known for what he is.

We're not trying to attack Watchers. We want them to know what they've gotten themselves into. We thought Cannibia was a cool guy too, at the start....

Don't you get it Kul? We don't give a shit about you, or Watchers.

This isn't about YOU ... or YOUR guild... its about Cannibia.

The reality is, any half-decent guild would support their member, regardless of slander thrown their way, this however isn't slander, slander is usually false pre-tense.

What we bring is facts.....

Fact is he lies.
Fact is he told us he was injured and probably wasn't.
Fact is the guild cared a great deal for him as a player and a member and he pulled a disappearing act, without notifying us.
Fact is he lied some more.
Fact is he is now laughing that this all came out, you can read about it on our boards, where HE is posting.

This is about Cannibia, and nothing else... however if you want to drag Watchers into it, we can surely do that... going over your guild policies, and its "values", and how Cannibia can clearly break them. Recited here in this very post about how he reflects the guild externally.

News flash, he's posting on a public board, making himself look worse than he already does, and now your guild is guilty by association because he wears your tag.

But this isn't about you, or your guild, its about him...

In the end, you won't deguild him, nor do any of us want you to. All Roshen was trying to do is inform your community (which we also don't give 2 shits about) that you have a player in your midst that was dishonest, and a coward.

The community knows it now.... so more power to you.

Yep Im so far up Watchers ass. You stupid fuck, aside from casually knowing about 8 people in the guild, mostly former members of GoTR and the former leader of my very first guild on Brell, I had no interaction with Watchers at all.

By the way, I officially retired from EQ after becoming a grandfather 2 months ago and stick around the boards while bored at work mostly to fuck with the guys on the political threads.

I was just pointing out that Watcher's decisions, which you were commenting on, don't affect you, and suggested you STFU. Of course you have a right to your opinion and I respect that right, just wanted to point out you are still an idiot.

Im flattered that Cannibia left a guild that was obviously progressing into Time to take a chance on Brell. Take your flaming asses back to your shit hole server and get on with your lives. The fact that you are here trying to destroy a persons rep because they felt they needed to be secretive to get away from you fucknuts just shows why he left in the first place. The fact that he felt obligated to give you some sort of excuse for his absence only shows that he cares. The lie itself is so bad it shows that he is not the proffesional liar you claim him to be. Based on your actions to this point I think its very plausable that had you known his intentions you would have done everything in your power to make the process hard on him. I mean if this person wronged you guys in some way why are you even wasting your time coming here to tell us. Oh yea, you feel obligated to "warn" everyone on brell about Canni. I call bullshit.
