hehe. I think alot of people still do Alannia. When I logged back in a few weeks ago, I had like 4 people tell me that. lol.

LOL, you're not supposed to tell anyone that!

But I might as well jump on the wagon, I've been in it for a couple months. This one isn't going to be ready for prime time until late Fall, way too many issues at this point.

Hey, just checked back in on the thread. Of course he forgot to tell me (I blame Syche!). I am going to have to e-mail them and get in. I heard it had started but did not know anyone playing so it became an after thought. Is it fun or still too buggy/limited? I really haven't been playing any MMO's since my old computer got fried in a lightning storm in late spring but Syche and Truffles are pestering me to play EQ again.

Haven't heard from you in a while, hope everything is going well professionally and personally.

YES! Everything is Excellent. September 16th is still on and coming FAST! I do plan to send you an invite. I will shoot you an Email soonly explaining all the details.

As for Vanguard, I will look into getting a slave drive set up this weekend. I haven't upgraded my computer in a long time. I still only have a 20 Meg drive. It takes 9 free megs to install. Since I have WoW, EQ, and FFXI loaded my computer, I don't have much space left.

Truffles told me that he and Syche were thinking about getting back into EQ. I told him that I was thinking about playing a night or two a week. I could prolly talk Vonn into making an appearance too.

I figured you were busy with the details. If it is anything like mine, the wife planned for 15 months and I planned for 15 hours (that is if partying the night before can be considered part of the planning process).

Look forward to the e-mail and hope all the planning goes smoothly.

Just dump FF and WoW from your computer and you will have plenty of room for EQ and Vanguard! Looks like Syche and Truffles are back in EQ so you and Vonn need to pop your head in. I just polished off my latest Civ 4 game so will be looking to log in some time before the weekend to get my feet wet again. Would be great to see you guys as well.

Not that anyone cares, but I've heard a few interesting names turning up in the EQ2 expansion - Vyemm, Goreniere, Harla Dar, Talendor, Kerafyrm...

Well the "Gods" are basically running scared from the mortals. They have done everything they can to sever connections between Norrath and their planes. It will be the mortals of Norrath who bring the gods back.

The new AA system in EQ2 looks rather complicated from what I have read so far. Some of my guildies are in the KoS beta and have been giving us some sneak peeks. It's nothing like the EQ1 system at all.

It's not endless. In EQ2 you can only accumulate 50 AA points in a system where it would take 201 points to gain every ability. This is not EQ1's AA system. This is a way to specialize your character in a manner of your choosing.

You can basically fill up 1 tracks of the 5 separate AA tracks with 50AA, or get the abilities from 2 tracks but not at full strength.
