The peace of Jesus is just coursing through isn't it Taxious! /chuckle
The sad thing is - it's people like him that use the Bible as a weapon as opposed to a guide and give Christians a bad rap. Rather than a positive tool, it's used to rationalize whatever bullshit judgement he wants to make while puffing himself up as more knowing and superior in a faux attempt at helping others help themself. Like JESUS! Wee
Just stand by your own biased, judgemental bullshit and admit it's just you. Leave the Bible out of it. God wouldn't have given it to us as a handbook for assholes.

I was just trolling with you guys for a while. Being gay myself, I don't believe any of that crap I was saying. It is interesting the conversations I've had with people that do however.
I seem to have the same experiences as Jaro does about breaking steriotypes by not acting fem. (Maybe it's a gay everquest players thing? ) I've read that something like 98% of parents know that their kid is gay before they tell them. My parents had no idea nor did friends ect.. By taking advantage of this and coming out to people slowly I've found that this is the easiest way to help others understand homosexualty.
I've noticed that most people that are totally against homosexuality are the ones that have never really known one. That alone just seems really stupid to me but I guess so does homophobia.
P.S. Fred Phelps needs to die.

Oh, I don't, but I can use him to bash those afraid to post their *cough* true convictions on this board.
Oh, and the Treaty of Tripoli knocks a big hole in your troll, Tax.

http://www.yale.edu/lawweb/avalon/diplo ... r1796t.htmAnd yes Partha, I have read all of Leviticus, and a no on the ToT. It is obvious however that this country does not uphold total separation of church and state though. America has a national religion that has helped shape and mold our history. There is no reason to throw it out now, if you don't like it move plzkthx.
ARTICLE 11.
As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion,-as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen,-and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

Partha, I guess more of my point was that if America really upheald the ToT, we wouldn't be having an arguement about whether gay marriage is right or wrong. I guess it's just my 'close-minded liberalness' coming out but this topic seems to be nothing but a human rights issue of descrimination.

As far as the whole question about whether or not humans have some innate sense of morality, and how does it differ if it differes from animals, Obviously we do. All social animals do, including us. There are very basic rules for social animals, usually revolving around mating and social structure, typically with a defined hierarchy. I believe that when we learned language and with that came a choice to break free from and water down our instincts and pervert our social structure, we needed to invent god. And so we did.
yes I believe that god is a perversion of nature, especially Your god!

God you had me confused for a minute there, Tax. =p
Oh, and something tells me Khoren's pretty damn flamey. And though he is not really gay, Lanwewen is a total farie IRL (Love ya Lanny Pants~).

Never really met Khoren in game but from what I read on SR's site he did seem like quite the nell. (Or at least that is the impresion I got from Mustadio's quotes
)
I remember once when I asked for a port from some druid like 2 years ago and he had some naked wood elf man following him around. I had my suspicions (Gaydar can be strong enough to see through code!
) and during the short time we were all grouped I finally got it out of him that it was his n00b boyfriend on the other character. I was all excited to have met another gay man on EQ... ahh good times.
I did meet tons of lesbians through the game though. Nice people.

Yeah, Khoren was a fruit. Something about him dying his armor pink. =p I didn't really get to know him until about the last year I played or so, but he was one of the funniest fuckers I've ever met.
I never got to know too many RL women in EQ, and the only lesbian was Shyntlara. I'm almost certain I spelled her name wrong, too. Oh yeah, and Gelly. I seriously doubt she remembers, but one day forever ago my roomies and I (In our super-geektastic basement network) had a group going in Twilight Sea killing elementals (With alts, but we kept logging our mains in to buff) and she joined us for an hour or two. She was the first intelligent Beastlord I'd met since the release of Luclin, and that was the only time I so much as talked to her in game.
Damn this thread derailed. Oh well.

My first lesbian encounter was with my bard when I was trying to kill some drake or something in skyfire for my epic. A druid/cleric couple came into the zone and just asked if we wanted help. It was just me and a necro, graveyard camping so we said yes. The four of us camped the spawn for about 5 hours just talking. It was amazing just hearing about what they had gone through in their lives. I got all disgusted when they talked about picking pussy hair out of their teeth.

Too bad we lost some of the earlier freak-out threads. Shyntlara was one of them. After having her ass handed to her on a thread, she resorted to claiming she was a psychiatrist studying us all.
She also claimed to a young guy in game she was cybering that she wasn't really a male just someone who had a sex-change - the reason she was EQ-divorcing him. Those were some funny logs.
