lol yeah. "well... is this a dream?" "yeah" "well... okay then!"
I loved what they did with the Marnie/Sookie encounter too. It seems like Sookie would have learned her lesson about outting herself as a special person by now... but nope.
This whole thing cracks me up too:

Now thaaaat's what I'm talkin about (episode wise).
As long as fans waited for the Sookie, Eric deal, it looked like the most awkward love scene I'd ever viewed on the show.
Either way...... they left on a few cliffhangers there, eh.
And WTF with Sam's brother? He changed into a human and leaves his human "skin" behind him?
I have a feeling that long-haired scuzzy looking werewolf is that other shifter's ex and how the real Sam is gonna have an ass-whoopin' coming his way.
Okay, this season has kind of sucked for me. It just doesn't seem like the same show this year. The continuity is off and it's jumping around too much. Lots of boring filler and the cheese has been amped up.
Things I like - I am glad Sam's parents are gone because they were annoying and not the least bit interesting and if I had to see that guy in droopy, dirty underwear one more time, I think I'd puke. I like Marnie, I like the PR witch.
Things I don't - the fucked up fairies and the ridiculous first episode, Jesus & Lafayette's storyline and lack of chemistry, demon-baby storyline, the sudden lack of chemistry between Sookie and Eric, Bill isn't interesting, the pace of the storylines...either flashbacks quickly showing how we progressed or the tedious pace and cheesy dialogue of others.
The last couple episodes have been better, but man, I've been looking forward to the Sookie-Eric hook up ever since I read the book this season is based on, and what a disappointment. For one, they aren't doing a good job building the connection (the book was way better) and that sex scene was horribly, uncomfortably awkward. Like they were both seriously uncomfortable with the scene and just wanted to get it over with. Is that due to her relationship with Bill IRL making both of them feel awkward? They did it in fantasies previous seasons and it worked, so it's not chemistry because they USE TO have it. But come on, at least attempt the good sex scenes from the book even if you are going to assrape the storyline from it.The chemistry between them was better when he was an asshole. In fact in the book he didn't turn into the complete pussy-whippped vamp he's playing right now, he was stll very self-confident, he just didn't try to play tough guy about his feelings towards her. He was more loving and protective, but not pussy.
I know it's not set in stone since the episode ended in true cliffhanger fashion. But it scares the shit out of me and I can't wait to see how it turns out! She's one of my favorite characters!

I know. She is one of THE BEST things about the show (she and Pam) and if they kill her, well, fuck them.
My guess is that Jason saves her and Bill will absolutely lose his mind when the sun goes down. What I want to know is how far Marnie and her goons were able to push their power. A few miles? Tens of miles? LOL at Hoyt's mom living next door to a vamp.
Ahh got caught up yesterday. I'm not a big fan of Jessica, but I hope Pam gets back to her old self! Sookie is really boring this season so far. I agree that her+eric sex scene was pretty... retarded and awkward.
Marnie / Antonia ... I'm loving her! What a badass, I loved this scene (my best friend and I have been dorkily doing this since we saw it in the trailer for the season). It makes me want to fire up an EQemu and play some necro!

Oh and this last episode Sookie-Eric sex scene wasn't ANY better than the awkward last one. It was just as weirdly awkward. Seriously it just looks like they are both just trying to get through it. Even when he rests his head on her afterwards, it looks like he's hovering it on her and not even resting it. SOOO WEIRD!
The chemistry is nothing like the previous seasons.
I really don't see anything awkward about it at all.

Or maybe it's because hetero sex always looks awkward!
Yes, Eric is hawt. I don't usually dig the "tall and handsome" look, but OMG. Secksay~

WTF was the point of the snowy forest scene with Eric and Sookie? Gh3y.
The rest of the episode was pretty good.
Re: Jessica -
Hidden Information!
I'm glad she didn't die, and I kind of expected as much. I'm very slightly annoyed that Jason says he shot the guard, but in the last scene we saw with Jason and the guard they were both on the ground, the guard had a gun trained on Jason, and Jason's weapon wasn't even out of its holster. How the fuck did Jason draw his weapon (While laying on the ground) and get a shot in before the guard had a chance to shoot him first? I expect we'll never know. /Minor gripe off.
The breakup with Hoyt was sad. I really didn't expect him to go all "God hates fangs" on her the way he did, and I really feel bad for her. Poor girl.

I'm totally with you on this. They're desperate for something to do with Lafayette. I like the character, but if they can't find a use for him, I really hope they fucking kill him off already like they should have done in Season 1.

I especially hated the "after-school special" vibe surrounding the end of Lafayette's stupid ghost plot line. "We just saw a miracle!" Fucking please, bitches. At least that shit's over now...hopefully.
