Okay, my 2cps. Canni's already giving a bad image and Watchers is defending him because he put up a good show and made them believe he's worthwhile before the former guild on the old server came calling because they found out they'd been jacked.
Watchers is apparently okay with this act and wholeheartedly support cross-server guild jackers. This lowers the opinion for the Watchers guild to any who have a problem with people that use guilds by building up a good rep then ditching out of said guilds. To those who think Watchers is super-keen, they quickly ignore the facts to cover for Watchers, while not doing much to dispel the obvious facts at hand - that being that said guild got jacked and said offender is giggling like a school girl at the masterful execution of his nefarious plan to use and shoes.
Most likely outcome:
Watchers will continue to refuse to acknowledge the validity of the warning at hand, preferring to think that it was a one time isolated incident and that this super-PL'd, decent cleric of 65 with 393 AAs is a main whom has never had an alt that might be notorious for this sort of behavior. They will also continue to disconsider the possibility that they too may be jacked in the near future, as the Enshadowed cross-guilding gives dubious information to anyone paying attention to this drama.
Prediction!
While they're refusing to acknowledge, only a few members will be polite, while others will proceed to be abrasive, thinking that it is the best diplomatic strategy in dealing with people that have valid complaints. On the Agony side, some will start getting very abrasive in return and proceed to offend Watchers members, further pushing them from the obvious merely by insult taken. In the end, Canni is still giggling and now has a full guild backing him, eager to prove to Agony that they were just being dicks until everything is forgotten about, after which Canni will prove the Agony people weren't just being dicks and transfer to Stormhammer to join the uber guild there, now that he's used Watchers for everything he could milk out of them, just as he used Agony and had started to use Enshadowed but couldn't make the cut.
Meanwhile, Kahunaman will still type in run on sentences and make far-fetched predictions just as a rant starts getting entertaining, and perhaps get pwned before long just because he can. Valoria will continue becoming funnier and Torakus will pull a Robyn by first retiring and then coming back repeatedly. Croinc will say something amusing, Xilanthanax will say something else amusing, and Relbeek will continue being a halfling mailman.
And that's all I can think of right now.

This isn't about Cannibia making an excuse to play with Watchers. Its about her being a liar, who fucked with people's feelings, and is laughing about it now
If she said 'oh, I have to take a trip to go buy some milk, i won't be able to raid for a few days', and then never came back the blow wouldn't be an emotional one. Instead he choose to play on the sympathy of other guild members, who offered their assistance in his recovery.

I rarely post on this board but this time I think I will...Cannibia level 65 douchebag of Watchers
You say this isn't a rant on <Watchers>, but look at the title of the post. Clearly, you posted "of Watchers" because there are so many Cannibia on Brell correct? If you wonder why some folks might take the defensive look no further then your title.
Regarding Cannibia, I cannot comment on the situation with <Agony> as I do not play on that server or with that guild. However, I can say stalking someone cross-server and attempting to smear their rep shows a fair amount of malice.
I understand you feel betrayed so you now seek revenge for your hurt feelings. And you believe coming here and attempting to ruin Cannibia's game experience on Brell is just deserves. You point out he lied to you, personally I don't know this to be true and there are always 2 sides to a story. But even conceding that he did lie, is vengeance any less of a character flaw then lying? Is malice the stuff great people are built of? I find your posts here hypocritical at best. I can't imagine why he would want to leave your guild...
Since Cannibia has come to Brell, I have known him as a highly skilled cleric that loves to raid. He has never once refused an accommodation to a friend or guildmember, and has always displayed in his actions and demeanor the type of traits I look for in a friend. Personally, I regard my own experience in a much higher light then the words of the scorn based on vengeance. You have said your peace, acted out your vendetta, now I suggest you reflect on what constitutes good character before you expose your nature further.

Or..
what Faulkner really ment.
Gee, we never rant people that left our server... let's think about that.. haha
Because you used the word WATCHERS on your message on a RANT board all your words are worthless.
Because Cannibia hasn't had time to screw us over yet we have to give him more time.
The he/she has given me all the cyber I need so we are keeping it.
Thanks again for coming here and posting!

Lets reflect
Lets take a minute and reflect on what you've said, because quite frankly you are one of the few who actually show a sign of intelligence high enough to comprehend the point being made.
You see, your said new cleric, that goes by the name Cannibia, is not only a liar, but he's not too smart either. You see, we synchronize our website based upon Magelo stats, and Cannibia, your brilliant cleric didn't think to make a new magelo when he transfered. So of course, since he's still a member of our guild (note: we didn't deguild him, he left with no notice, and a lie about being severely injured) ..guess what happened ? Thats right, our member list updated his stats, and since he's actively getting AA's and gear, what does that mean?? That means someone noticed on our member list, Cannibia's info was continually changing. (Translation: He's actively playing somewhere, or he's really bored and likes make his Magelo look good while lying in bed from his injury)
Then, after intense investigation (http://www.google.com typing in the word Cannibia), low and behold guess what it brought up? Watchers, Brell Serilis, Cannibia Cleric..... didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what had happened in all of 30 seconds. So we sent Cannibia a tell in game, asked him a few questions, and instantly knew it was the same guy and thus this whole mess came about.
All of us commend Cannibia on being a great player, we loved having him in our guild, and until this all came about we were under the false impression he was still on medical leave due to his "tragic" work accident, when the reality is he just fled a server for no known reason.
So, please, take your judgement of me, and my character and shove it, because you don't know jack about me, my guild, and our intentions.
We LIKED Cannibia very much, and held him as one of our top notch players, but he as an individual outside of being a good cleric, is dishonest, and cowardly.
Yes, Cannibia lied, and snuck away without even so much as a good bye, and when you've played with someone for nearly a year you get to know them pretty well (but I guess not well enough). So when he said he was hurt, people reached out to help, only to be laughed at later because it was all a lie.
You wanna judge character, look no further, as you now have him in your ranks as a cleric, and a good cleric at that.
Enjoy your new home Canni... im sure in about a week this will all be water under the bridge, as most rants are.

First off, its hardly stalking... Cannibia walked right into it, we didn't actively seek him out. Let me clarify how exactly this brilliant mastermind of stalking came about.Regarding Cannibia, I cannot comment on the situation with <Agony> as I do not play on that server or with that guild. However, I can say stalking someone cross-server and attempting to smear their rep shows a fair amount of malice.

If you read extra close, you'll realize that not a single member of my guild has mentioned anything about his game play, nature in the game, or attitude in the game.Since Cannibia has come to Brell, I have known him as a highly skilled cleric that loves to raid. Y'know, I know a lot of people that used to be real nice until they were in a pretty high end guild. Then they were only real nice to their clique and all their old friends were left twisting in the wind. It's kind of funny how people can change from being super-cool to super-uber and have the entire officer and bootlicker section of a guild to back them up on it, yet the people that knew those super-cool people before they were super-uber can give you the real scoop.
And just to retort, I DO know of some clerics that've used guilds just for loots and shits until they had enough to step up into, say, Watchers, Enshadowed, and even Silent Redemption. Nobody apparently minds, though. Female high elf clerics give the best cyber, y'know, and manginas aren't too bad either from what I hear. I could give names, but sorry, I'm not. If you don't know them yourself, then it's probably for the best. I'd just be 'Trying to Ruin Their Good Rep', and I'm not in any big hurry to ruin my own just yet by being a snitch.

I could give a rats ass that canni xfered servers. People come, people go. But I really feel screwed by the whole "accident" thing. I worked the rigs in Texas for awhile when I was going to school, I saw shit like that happen. Most oil crews would give OSHA a heart attack.
So his 'wife' tells us how this happened, and I'm like, OMG, do you need anything, how is the whole worker's comp going, etc. etc. etc. I thought and worried about him when I was out of the game, had IRL conversations with other guildmates asking how he was doing, did he need anything, etc. etc.
And he just shrugs and laughs.
Karma is a bitch. I wouldn't wish a 40' concrete dive on my worst enemy, hope you aren't courting fate.
Anyway, enjoy EQ, enjoy your guild. You made this gnome really sad.
