in my opinion jecks was not anywhere near as arrogant as cat, his whole "I'm military i r teh vanguard of the nation" thing is pretty standard and nothing you couldnt hear from a million cranky vets. hell I have even found myself thinking the same way to an extent when I get annoyed with some kid.
Whereas the whole 'I make more I am smarter I matter more" crap cat was spewing, in my experience anyways typically comes from people who produce nothing of intrinsic value, sheltered small people who have not seen enough of the world and the people in it to know that you cant measure another's worth when circumstance can never be a controlled variable.
Maybe I am off base but %99 of the time these are the sort've people I see this attitude in. Luckily such an attitude has never been directed at me personally in real life, I would most likely throw my freedom away for 20-life right then and there.

Indefensible comments? I just insulted you. I'm sure I'm richer and smarter than you, and since I'm better than everyone in the universe, being better than you is rather a given. That seems pretty defensible to me.

Try telling me that you're younger and handsomer and get $400 a hour to have your ass pounded. I'm sure I couldn't begin to compete in those departments, though I could front ddrak the $400 to find out if you're any good.

I may have missed the original reference from Jecks, but it looks like the original salvo of 'I r teh better' came from Cart.

His subsequent posts look very much like trolling or having fun with Jecks, but the original post he made about making more money, knowing more and being better came before Jecks made any 'I r teh vanguard comments' (at least I think so).

In any case, this thread as certainly gotten much more entertaining.
