Re: The Walking Dead
More, please. Love the building tension between Shane and Rick. Hopefully this ends bloody.

That scene where the zombie is pushing his head through the glass & it's peeling his face off was badass!

Glad this 2nd half of this season is less preachy then the first. Can't wait for next weeks episode. Shave vs Rick. DING! DING!

Re: The Walking Dead
I have a question...How did or what did cause the zombie's in the Walking Dead? I mean from what I have seen so far..Rick gets shot...wakes up from his coma and there are zombie's everywhere. What caused it all do they tell you?

Re: The Walking Dead
So far in the TV show they haven't gone into what caused it. A CDC employee even said they had no clue what the infectious agent was.
I haven't read through all the comics, but at least up to issue 36 (As far as I've read) they hadn't covered it.
One tidbit was revealed in the comics, and they've foreshadowed it in the TV show as well...

Re: The Walking Dead
Totally awesome. Also @ the end it looked like the first reference to what the comic book called hordes. Where a bunch of zombies would sort of gather together. Then they were in such mass amounts that they would zerg your ass. Show is definitely picking up. Now if we can just see Lori get blasted through the gut with the newborn baby we'll be right back in comic mode

Re: The Walking Dead
Really? I did not. He seemed like an actor who was trying to do the southern thing too hard. Plus the way he walked around with his arms bowed out as if he was jacked? WTF was that about. Good riddance.
This & the Dale episode is the first real sign, imo, that they are staying true to the essence of the comic. Which is that no one is safe. The characters you think are lifers can drop off outta no where. Loved it. Now they need to introduce Michonne (a.k.a. Harlowe)

Re: The Walking Dead
Foreshadowing Michonne and the prison. Beautiful.
I was a little surprised the siege on the farm was over so quick. Lol @ perfect headshots from moving vehicles. Goodbye, two more random support characters whose names I'll never remember. Rick's not much better than Shane at this point, imo. He's become manipulative, controlling, deceitful, even tyrannical. The only thing Shane was that Rick isn't (Yet) is cold-blooded. They're definitely pushing him, just like in the comic. I like.
Can't wait for the fall!

Re: The Walking Dead
Yeah the headshots from a vehicle that was bouncing through a field was comical. Also the shotgun that Hershel was using had 5 billion shots in it LOL. Also that one girl that got caught when running out of the house was all WTF? Like she couldn't see the fucking thing directly in front of her. Haha! They just need to tighten that shit up a little, but still awesome.Jarochai Alabaster wrote:Foreshadowing Michonne and the prison. Beautiful.

There's a lot of rumor that Michonne is being played by that True Blood chic, which imo kinda sucks. Not that she is such a horrible actress, just that she isn't old or hard enough to fill the role. I always saw her being played by a Cindy Blackman type. Maybe Shanola Hampton?
Will be interesting to see how far they are willing to push the AMC limit @ the prison. I mean that's where shit gets straight up CRAY in the comic.

Re: The Walking Dead
I wish they'd just elimate Carl, he ruins everything. I don't know who that character is (Michonne) the bad ass ninja person at the end? I'm pretty sure Claudia Black would make an awesome ass-kicker in any show, though.
Nevermind, she's the wrong skin color!

Re: The Walking Dead
It was my understanding that Kirkman recently announced Danai Gurira was playing Michonne. That's fine with me because I don't think I could handle a Tara Part Two.
