Eberk, just to clarify how this board seems to work at the moment:

i) Anyone posting on topic will be flamed regardless of how "correct" they are. If something objectionable can't be found in your post then random words from it will be taken out of context to make you appear like satan incarnate.
ii) Nothing ever gets resolved here. To even pretend that it might is just fantasy. Some of the longer threads were resolved in game by the 2nd page but still went to 20 or 30 pages.
iii) Threads will not stay on topic. This is especially the case if Jadelin, Lacryma and Emetibu all post on the same thread.
iv) Lacryma is jailbait. Don't give her <3.
v) The less officially said on topic the better. Posts of about 10 words are usually sufficient to portray an "official" guild position. Because of rule (i) the post is less interesting because it takes too much thought to take out of context.
vi) Rule (iv) is a good example of rule (iii), as is rule (vi).
vii) Everything is Enshadowed's fault, especially now that LoH has disbanded.

Since when has the title of the forum made jack squat difference to what is allowed and what isn't? One of the larger political debates was in this forum recently and there's been numerous religous debates that came from a derailment.

Just in case that's not enough for you, here's the rules to help refresh your memory:

The "on topic" or "off topic" issue is over as far as mods are concerned. There is a forum for ranting about ANYTHING, including EQ, and a forum for EQ only rants. Neither forum will have "topic cops" deciding what's on or off topic. It's up to you to decide whether your post is appropriate for the forum.

Oh, I'm not saying that posts aren't generally supposed to be EQ related on this board. It's just that if someone links a Wicca site in their EQ rant then I've no problems with a religous debate on Wicca ensues instead of anything remotely "on topic".

Having said that, threatening someone with Wicca can't be construed as a RL threat because there's no tangible evidence that Wicca curses actually work, unless of course the mods decide that for something to be a RL threat then all that's required is the author of the threat to believe it will work, independantly of the recipient feeling threatened (or possibly humored). I mean if I threatened to Wicca curse Jadelin by removing her sex drive, is that a RL threat?
