I have a really bad feeling about any Turbine game. I might take a look at it after it launched if is gets rave reviews.

I'm not impressed with this game at all and I've given it ample opportunity. It feels like going back 3 years in game-technology. Characters and movement are like playing a PS1 game. It certainly wasn't stable either.

It felt like you were playing an old PC or PS1 game to me.

The other thing that pissed me off, you can make a cool looking guy Elf, but the chicks all have bitter, old haggy librarian sucking a lemon faces.

Fuckers.

The game blows though, if you want to play a game of this caliber, pop in a console game and save the monthly fee.

hmmm ive been playing for awhile now in the pre order and have run into any issues at all other than some lag in towns where there are 80 kaljillion people from it being new. other than that ive had no issues with anything. i think they fixed whatever problems you had earlier.

guess i havent noticed if the elf women look like hags heheh. i made myself a bald old man with a long white flowing beard for grins...

Dunno, considering that the high and very high resolution packs arent in the open beta I am holding out judgment. There's about 5 more gigs of content that arent available at the moment, more sound files, probably more character features, all the graphic resolutions. The only issue I've run into was lag where there were about 100 farmers clustered around a workbench. No crashing, quests are interesting, instances and level design are fantastic, the weapon and armor models are realistic and the water looks freaking amazing. My only complaint with the game is, the areas are too goddamn big and there are way too many quests.

So did anyone play this past the open beta?

Any reviews on the game now that it's been live for a while?
