A Mathematically elegant theory of Everything has been proposed by an American physicist and surfer. The theory sidesteps the issues of string theory, proposing the fundamental forces as mathematical properties of a fundamentally unique algebraic matrix, which resolve correctly when current known fundamental particles are placed in the matrix. Notably, the theory is likely testable, as it predicts a host of fundamental particles related to the transmission of gravity, which may, or may not, be discoverable when the CERN Large Hadron Collider goes on line this summer. The author is careful to note that, while when certain properties of the matrix are aligned with the observed properties of the universe, the matrix model correctly predicts known particles, there is as of yet no mathematical constraint on these properties, effectively leaving them unexplained.

There could be some truly gnarly ramifications if he's right.
