Microsoft says F*ck HD-DVD:
"Two weeks after slashing prices on its Xbox HD DVD player add-on, Microsoft has officially discontinued the item. The format's main backer, Toshiba, ceded victory to Sony's Blu-ray format a week ago. Microsoft said it's looking at how the HD DVD technology it has developed, such as HDi, which adds interactive features to HD DVDs, and its VC-1 video encoding technology, can be applied to other platforms."
