Seeing as there isn't a record on file yet, I'm pretty sure they can do it.

Opening of downloads started at 1:00 eastern time. 15 minutes ago as of this writing. The site is crushed.

I'm kinda surprised how many Firefox users there are in Iran. 12 hours to go and they're ahead of most European nations.

Using it on my machine at work. Got it downloaded on my 2 machines at home, but not installed yet. just wanted to do my bit to contribute to the total count.

So far so good. The new interface is pretty. I haven't explored the new features yet so I have no idea about the rest.

I'm mainly annoyed that Google discontinued BrowserSync. I've had to switch to Weave now with Firefox 3, which isn't quite as smooth yet. Other than that, there's really not too much different about 3 that I can see from an end-user point of view. Different widgets here and there maybe.

8,970,084 downloads in a 24-hour period.

I like it, but like Klast, I haven't really tinkered with it too much yet.

Really, really, really hate the new history & location bar unfunctions - I used to use them extensively.

Bleh, I'm finding a few other intricate details that I'm not liking so far. Gonna give it a little longer to see if it grows on me.

Everything is bigger. It's trying too hard to not be hip-flashy-round-esque, the style is unique but its about as unique as a college art major - unique until you put it next to another college art major.

I really like the keyword feature. I also really liked how the transition from 2 to 3 was flawless - i only lost the function of one addon, and it was one i hadn't used in forever anyway. No updating my preferences, no re-downloading anything, completely seamless transition.

The home page icon is ugly. Thats about all I can say bad about it so far.

I never liked Firefox 2's look. I've always downloaded a new theme.

I loved the old Firefox look. Very clean, minimal, and efficient. I wish M$ operating systems worked that way. Instead of having to go in and turn all the system resource hogging shit off, you should have to go in and turn it on if you want it. XP is pretty bad, Vista is even worse, I imagine the next version of windows would run on a 486 with 16 megs of memory but because of the bullshit attached you'll have to have a 3 terahertz cpu with 9 exobytes of memory to load it. Seems ass backwards to me. At the very lease they could have a checkbox labeled "Unnecessary Shit" you could uncheck during install.

So far FF3 has been just dandy.

Having to right+click on the back/forward buttons to get a list of what I want to jump to is a minor nitpick.

the location bar now showing the title+url+icon is busy compared to what i'm used to; but I should get used to it.

In the same vain, searching for websites used to be url specific, and I'm used to that. I suppose searching titles as well as the actual URL is an enhancement, but it takes a bit of getting used to.

I was running adblock and not adblock plus (never knew it existed), but that was very minor and overall beneficial. Otherwise everything else ported over just fine; except for the wow-specific search-engine that I wrote to look up people's armories (NERD).

I've had some issues with flash games crapping out, but that's rare and probably not FF3 related.

There's a little down-arrow beside the forward button if you don't want to right click for the list...

Pidgin annoys me because when I restore the sidebar, it resizes all of my windows.

It's got it's quirks, but I use it at work cause we have to use Spark in office to chat, and it'll do aim/yahoo/irc/ and spark. It's more efficient for me than Meebo is, sadly. Cause I do <3 me some meebo.
