I would "hope" that the recent success of the Hulk and Iron Man have shown that remaining true to the character equates to box office success, and listening to Hollywood sycophants who want to change things for artistic/stupid reasons equals box office failure would mean good things for the future no matter who owns the characters.....but who knows.
