Reading the paper, it's a long way off production but holy crap - that's really promising. The best part is the list of people involved in funding, which doesn't include a major pharma company.

Yeah, I saw this the other day too. The first broad spectrum anti-viral. It's about time.

It was a virus they think that struck me down a couple years ago. They hit me with the best IV anti-virals they had but the doc told me the anti-virals just made me get better faster (maybe) and the fact that I was alive meant that my body had already fought off whatever it was. They think what they gave me might've helped, but they weren't sure!
