Ryan's convention speech

Post by Ddrak »

Must have been something else if Fox is blasting it...

Ryan’s speech was an apparent attempt to set the world record for the greatest number of blatant lies and misrepresentations slipped into a single political speech.

Romney's campaign is built almost entirely on lies about Obama and obfuscation about his own policies because he thinks the American people are an idiots. It will be interesting to see if the news media can properly handle a campaign that has no link to reality.

Look at how they've handled Obama's. That'll tell you how well the can handle it.

"I know you are but what am I." How original.

His speech made me wonder why Romney didn't pick John Thune as a running mate. Thune has similar whacky ideas on how to recover the economy, like NOT spending on infrastructure as Romney and he doesn't seem to lie quite so easily as Ryan. I still want to know how the husband of a TAX ATTORNEY forgets about a $1 million+ income earning trust on his financial disclosure.

There's your answer. The Republican party exists only to sell the big lie - if you cannot lie from sunup until sundown, you do not qualify.

Well, no, you forgot the other big part. Whereas Paul Ryan is that sexy, sexy manbeast of P90X and sub three hour marathons, John Thune looks like a living incarnation of a loaf of Wonder Bread.

Agreed on all the above. I suspect Romney's being directed by backroom politics.
