I think painting Texas, population 25,674,681, by the facebook statements of the Treasurer of Hardin county, population 55,246, takes a rather broad brush. So yeah, it was aimed at Minute.

I don't think it's too far off to say "Texas WTF". It's happening in more than one county iirc. In fact, don't you recall the Texas Board of Education getting approval to white-wash slavery and gussy up some terms.
