That apple hubris seems to rear its ugly head in almost anything they do these days. This time it cost them. Too bad the U.S. courts won't keep them honest.

That's not just legal fees, it's the costs for anything remotely associated with the case - even the business lunches had by the lawyers. It's a big smackdown, but won't be much compared to their huge pile of greenbacks.

I think Samsung has said that those legal bills and expenses add up to 1.1 billion or something, so it is something significant probably even to them. But as someone in the comment section pointed out, the biggest damage to apple from this will be to their credibility with the court, which is going to be ah, less sympathetic to them in the future.
