Rise of the Guardians

Post by Xican »

I saw this tonight, because the Hobbit had a ridiculous crowd going for it and wanted a quiet night. Not a bad movie to take the kids to. I would suggest not bringing the wee little ones out as there is some 'scary' imagery and it does loosely deal with death a few times.

It had some decent comedy in the same vain as Despicable Me or Monsters Inc so it's not totally painful for the parents and a surprisingly enjoyable storyline. The 3D was pretty cool, too. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a movie the kids will enjoy without it being a drag for yourselves. Also, not a bad little date night movie if you want something light.

Taking the kid here in an hour. Have heard good things about it and looking forward to the movie myself.

Alright, this movie rocked! My daughter, who is usually fidgety McFidget in any movie, sat completely still and entranced the entire time. Totally AWESOME. An all-around great flick.
